About the Art

"This design was made on April 19th, 2013, in celebration of the famous and fateful bicycle ride of chemist Dr. Albert Hoffmann in 1943. Without endorsing or disdaining LSD, the artwork is a recollection and tribute to the aesthetics of psychedelia, with it's prismatic maximalist stylings that recall the psychedelic antipodes of the mind. It was created using innovative digital painting techniques using a Wacom tablet and Corel Painter XII." -- Jake Kobrin
